The question this page answers is simple: you have one photo, and you want to turn the subject around in a browser. TripoSplat's published generator does that by making a Gaussian splat. The download is PLY or SPLAT.
A splat is a cloud of points you can orbit. It is not a mesh of faces, and it is not a solid you send to a printer. If your next step is editing in a modeling app or slicing for a printer, this download is the wrong file type. If your next step is looking around the subject, it is the right one.
Use one image. Pick a photo where the subject is large, centered, and not lost in a busy background. The generator page says you do not need a local GPU and you do not assemble the runtime yourself. That is the hosted path. It is not a promise about how pretty the result will be.
After the run, download PLY or SPLAT and open it in the free PLY viewer if you want to look again without starting another generation. The viewer is for a file you already have. The generator is for a photo you still need to turn into a file.
The first hosted run is described on the generator as a lighter preview, one per visitor, without signing in. Later runs are meant to stay in an account history. This page does not repeat credit amounts, because those live on the generator note and the pricing page and can change.
This page does not claim a quality rank, a speed rank, or a search ranking. It only names the file you get and the two buttons that match the two jobs: generate from a photo, or view a file you already downloaded.
